An article about a tweet showing a ren and Stimpy scene
Diving into the many details of this 90 sec scene as well as some from the Tweet itself.
Well I suppose that goes to show how much there is to extrapolate from this show. That's good especially considering how much trouble I got in as a teenager for doing so, and meeting people who didn't want to extrapolate anything from it except for a little fuel for their art careers.
In the replies people were saying that this showed the βevil of John Kβ before the 2018 tales. This makes little sense because the sexual accusations have nothing to do with wanting to destroy someone because he is loved by millions. Although you could compare the psychology of being tempted to do this to a friend, that UNDERMINES their point because Ren is struggling and cursing his weaknesses and flezh much like someone zealously religious decrying their sinfulness. If someone said that was his psychology about Katie rice or robyn byrd that would make him much more sympathetic, which actually makes sense if you want to believe the stories are true, as I will explain later.
Their view of this scene makes much more sense if they interpret it as being about John's attitude about the other important animation figures of the time, imagining this as his motivation for criticizing Brad bird, Bruce Timm and others on his 00s blog, which they expressed outrage about in the 00s or even today as they do about The Iron Giant. And so this goes to show how they construct the worldview of Industry culture, portraying John as somebody desperate to destroy his fellow animators simply because they are popular with Millions.
Black Culture, which cartoons participate in, is particularly associated with unconscious things. And communities like for the industry through this sort of subterfuge exploit the fact that people have yet to discover the true nature of Blackness. They paint their portrait of John without any member knowing they are doing so, or even conceiving intellectually of the picture they are making of him.
The scene is quite a Tour De Forest, or at least it is in our context of people refraining from learning from Ren and Stimpy to make cartoons better than Ren and stimpy. It contains a series of popular GIFs used today, showing the power of cartooning to make incredibly memorable moments one after another.
The shot of Ren's head and hands in blackness is more powerful than probably anything from the past decade of Animation not made by Genndy. It is incredibly educational as a mere 90 seconds of cartooning to learn from.
Being a meta cartoon about Stimpy having lots of fans as he did in real life, it possibly inspired them to really do some great cartooning for it. Showing what they're capable of as the people who bring Ren and Stimpy to life. It also inspired the incredibly common meta content of recent animation like Rick and Morty which is extremely shitty in comparison. (Explaining my very strong opinions as a teenager, as cartoons being made really WERE that bad compared to this stuff, and at the same time using words like βhorribleβ were set up for my horror friction that was badly plagiarized by Andrew, Alex and others) possibly they copy this element of Ren and snippy so much because they want characters that are famous icons like stimpy, and are expressing this desire, and also obsessing over him rather similar to how ren does, driving this scene into their minds to be inspired by.
The shadow shot of Ren reminds me of Nightmare Before Christmas sort of stuff, the shadowy friends on the other side of the Princess and the Frog too. The psychology of this scene is intense, explaining my fixation on Understanding Psychology when I grew up, from the religious tones to the powerful anatomy in each shot.
This account is called horror4kids. Despite not explicitly being the genre of the show Ren and Stimpy has good content for horror such as the psychology and other things. (Which goes against the industry wisdom that John expected cartoons to be only funny. They also ignored his appreciation for the witch in Snow White and other things) It goes to show how spiting John led to horror becoming a verboten genre for animation in America. Despite being explicitly about horror in kids' stuff the account complains about it instead of celebrating it, as that is what the mainstream culture which the account creator participates in wants, even horror fans going along with it.
The qrts and replies have quite a few people saying that this show defined how they turned out when they grew up. Showing what a powerful summation of the content of Ren and sippy it is, reminding them of this and how important what these scenes represent is to impacting how they grew up. ( I also saw a young lady who I would be quite interested in as a friend or date, if I needed options. Which goes to show the reason why a cartoon guy would be interested in younger women, as they intuitively manifest understanding of the things which the cartoons represent, living in and by such understanding. Instead of older people who can clamor about ruining what a cartoonist and similar people try to build in their lives without even knowing they are doing so, as adults in my own life did to me growing up, and when I tried to make my artistic Revolution happen. One of the things John admitted to was having a very strong interest in young females, and this is not an aspect of him which is even wrong because it's a good thing to want people in his life who actually understand his work. As well, the animation industry does a lot to cut down on the number of adults who can understand cartoons, which comes easily to a kid)
My whole main thesis about children's cartoons is that they should guide kids to growing up properly as Ren and Stimpy did for me even when thousands of people were trying to tear down what Ren and Stimpy taught me about my life. And so spoiling important scenes in Ren and Stimpy implying that they do not in fact guide kids properly, or at least some special categories of kids who are naturally inclined to such content, and that Ren and Stimpy fails, perhaps causing belief that it's not important for cartoons to guide kids.
Ren and Stimpy showed me things were true about the world which I may not have actually seen in any other source, even Ren and Stimpy inspired cartoons, aside from a few. Any Source besides those intuitive Mysteries which kids and people of other ages see which are difficult to put into words and without concrete existence in creation are difficult to show are real. And once you see things are true, you can't unring that bell. Which John's evil Manchild haters hatefully misconstrued as his fans believing things just because John said them.
They tormented me as a teenager, interfering with my efforts to act on those special truths instantiated in Ren and Stimpy and seen through The Eyes of childhood, causing me great and stripped apart suffering because I simply wanted to show what was important to me.
Returning to psychology, John's Visceral depictions of it led me to developing The View that basically everything else about the subject besides Carl Jung was a crock of shit that only said anything about the people who believed in it, not the true psychology of all people and subgroups of people created by God.
His intensity lead to my many works in the horror genre, planned in a slate of branches around the Underrealm, the central place which solidifies me as objectively a horror writer even when I use other genres and topics, as this place unites all my works. If John's haters actually wanted something besides comedy, they would simply let his fans peacefully make Works inspired by his own. I include besides myself people such as Rebecca Sugar and Dana Terrace, who obviously wanted to say important things about relationships as is a generally feminine topic. Their unrealized settings contain horror as well, fainter in Rebecca sugar and stronger in Dana before her ideas went through the Disney grinder.
Many of the less respectful people who copied John K's ideas also put in some horror, however it was completely ineffectual aside from saying something about what horrifies them, as with Gravity Falls making it look like Alex Hirsch is simply horrified by all paranormal topics. Particularly funny is Andrew putting A LOT of horror elements into Homestuck but after a couple years it quickly falls apart completely except on the meta levels. This directly led to the horror genre falling apart itself in a good chunk of past years, much of the work being objectively devoid of actual horror as from the lgbtq community. About the only horror many can imagine today is a Five Nights at Freddy's animatronic appearing in the backrooms, or cartoon Jesus smiling.
Calling the show βinsaneβ proceeds directly from people trying to completely ruin its legacy. The animation industry puts 1000sx more effort into this than actually making their own cartoons well. And it is why nobody involved can let me have a "platformβ or I will quickly unravel all the gaslighting about the show.
I see today's young John K haters speak of his work as if it is completely twisted and perverse, but nobody felt like that before recently. They view it through the Prism of all the nonsense the industry says about it, including what they say about it indirectly as when they respond to criticism of modern shows. And they do not want to believe that in fact they live in a world where thousands of people do their best on a literal daily basis to destroy a single cartoonist. (showing how difficult it would be to actually do this if that was how John actually felt about Bruce Timm and Brad bird. Did I mention the obvious projection? Well I don't need to really mention that when it comes to the industry)
This is particularly damaging when it comes to the fans. Most likely thousands of Ren and Stimpy fans have been severely affected by the industry's assault on the expression of the show, some much more so. This is one of the reasons why I feel nothing about damaging the mental health of Industry people in response, and in self-defense as some of them would love to destroy me again as happened when I was a teenager.
When I became friends with ipgd, who joined the homestuck team, I modeled my relationship after the show as I do, as with the very strong reactions the characters have to each other. This likely did a ton to make Homestuck fans and similar people feel fine about ostracizing me back then, the tarnishing of how the show depicted relationships. I had strong reactions to her, but if anything she had stronger reactions before any of mine on Tumblr and the homestuck community. That already set the standard for our interactions but people didn't bother to get to know me. Possibly this caused a personality shift of becoming nice to her, which she hated severely
Despite the opinions of people such as ipgd's fake friends, which they were not brave enough to actually say or properly illustrate, I have been psychologically crippled since their cancellation which was one of the first, only capable of feeling happiness when someone reminds me of her.
Lastly there is the spiritual symbolism of the scene. As I examined previously, Stimpy represents black nature and Ren represents white nature which is normal in our world. Stimpy is stupid because people don't know about black nature yet, and yet strangely competent as with gaining millions of fans while Ren has none besides Stimpy himself. This can symbolize a variety of things in the scene such as the show being wildly successful, but John gaining little credit for it as the success has to do with unknown Blackness.
And so this represents John reconsidering baaing his work in blackness even though it is so popular, as it brings personal suffering to himself. Another meta level of the episode. He ends up cursing his brain and flesh which causes him to consider this instead, showing his Fidelity to Blackness holds true, which is a more profound definition of being a straight white male.
The pointless blubbering about what the show's supposedly saying about John is a distraction from the profound things he is actually saying about obscured topics, which I was already trying to introduce to the world as a teenager starting in 2006.
It is so important that I believe it prevented Half-Life 3 from being made and many other events as they are dependent on Ren and Stimpy being accepted instead of reviled, that things such as Half-Life would not exist without Ren and Stimpy, and the natural process of the Decades since the show is to extrapolate all the profound significance of it. But they won't allow John to have that greatness, at least in this timeline which is the first one.
I could go on but it's not good to exhaust such a profound topic as this scene from Stimpy's fan club. Who knows what incredible things could have been discovered in upcoming seasons that Advance again and again, if the games Seasons never happened
