Reflections on Fortean Day 2023
The second article for this year's 4/13 event, a holiday whose date was coopted by Homestuck, the only reason why I swore vengeance against the webcomic
Feeling much at peace after completing my mega hurricane blitz. Beginning this one didn't happen until I finally saw very thick lightning bolts in the sky, thundering. It can take some time for my reagents to activate.
It is quite an ongoing joke that literally everything about my substack and other efforts is just what I was working on as a teenager by reading John K's blog as if it was my high school, but in real life. Instead of being in the comic books, it is in real life, even cringy MLK Jr imitators, though those parts came later in my early twenties with Hauntlyre.
After socializing cosmically through my mind humans became incredibly lame, so it took parts of my friend — mistranscription, so it took quite intensive effort to figure out they were becoming incredibly lame in real life as well not just in my mind.

Dana merges her imagination with my own but I couldn't really notice before this recent time, possibly she has browsed messages from me somewhere to fix her own imagination.

Through both the direct action of following him on Twitter and his personal friends and the indirect action of his influence on the animation community, he has been causing me many problems. Receding back to me being 15, which is why he helped create the obsession with John K's mostly imaginary interactions with 15-year-olds.

Failure State John K Fans there are those certain so-called fans who, on about this year's Fortean Day, proved themselves once and for all to not actually want the extrapolation of John K's abstract philosophy and to want to watch Society sail off into the sunset leaving all the things he could have contributed to the world behind. They must be in prevented from interfering with John Kay's legacy and the general topics of cartoons in every situation.
The commandeering after the owl house ended, nothing actually was coming up from animation besides things like Moon Girl and devil dinosaur, which lack the enthusiasm for a whole bold direction for animation. MCU Ouchies first their big superhero guy they centered a racial narrative around got cancer, now their big event villain for a whole series of movies is getting in a ton of legal trouble. Maybe it's time to give up on pretending to appreciate black culture and move out of the way for me to actually teach people how to appreciate it?
